Zhe Xue "(the School of Zhejiang) is the term, with which Zhu Xi criticized the Zhedong(East Zhejiang)School of Chinese Philosophy. In Song Yuan Xue An (a 100 - volume book for studying the academ- ic ideology of the Song and Yuan Dynasties), however, the excellence of "Zhe Xue" was highly appraised. The book embodies the conformable unification of the thoughts of Yongjia, Jinhua and Siming (three areas in Zhe- Jiang)into "Zhe Xue"in a narrative way. Moreover, it presents the fact that "Zhe Xue" culminated in Siming, East Zhejiang geographically and ideologically. |
