Abstract：Recently unearthed documents have opened new opportunities for research into the poetry of the Tang Dynasty . The newly discovered documents offer the potential for extensive research into the poets during this dynasty , such as Cui Hao's appointed official position , Han Yu's friends , and the position of Miao Fa within his family . Wrong information from the poets'biographies ,as described in the official history books , can be corrected with this new information . With the discovery of these documents ,research into the poetry of the Tang Dynasty can be expanded .
